​PROGRAM NOTES
After attending an incredible hand bell concert in the summer of 2010, the use of bell tones was in the forefront of my mind. I decided to apply the technique to brass instruments.  Different instruments play certain notes that join together to form one line of melody.  Underneath the melody is a driving ostinato, which is later contrasted by a more lyrical line.
